Nate McLouth has had an up-and-down 2009 so far.  Look for Nate The Great to put up bigger numbers between now and the All-Star Break.  He is traditionally much better in the first half of a season and it will show soon.  Here are some other great stories:

• In Game Now posted a good piece about manager anger issues and compiled a list of The Top 10 Manager Meltdowns, some of these videos are great to see!  The Carlos Zambrano blowup is shown here also!
• The people over at Fansided think that Lebron James Would Be The Best Receiver In The NFL and raise some very valid points as to why they would make this statement.
• As the Pittsburgh Penguins get ready to do battle with Detroit for the Stanley Cup, Total Pro Sports has found a neat picture of a fan fliiping off the ref in the Blackhawks vs Red Wings game.
• Sports Rubbish dug up a video of crazed Brazilian soccer fans attacking a team while practicing and punches are thrown – check out the video!
• Cubs GM Jim Hendry’s decision to trade Mark DeRosa to Cleveland for three minor-league pitchers comes to us from the Cubs Blog, The Friendly Blogfines.
• Josh Q. Public takes a good look at Detroit’s Rick Porcello, a 20-year-old starter who is 5-0 with a 1.50 ERA.  He can hardly be considered a prospect, now, he is a potential all-star.  Interesting comparisons to a young Dwight Gooden.
• PacMan Jonesin’ takes a humorous statistical peek at Desmond Hatchett.  Desmond Hatchett has surpassed Travis Henry’s records for having 21 kids with 11 women and he is only 29.
• Detroit4lyfe hopes not to see Marc-Andre Fleury’s big teeth and why they think Detroit can shut down Malkin and Crosby to get the job done in 5 games.
• Before Michael Jordan became the prototype causing us to ask the question, “Who Is The Next Jordan?”, The Hoop Doctors dig deeper and state Even Michael Jordan was the next someone.
• The annoying Birdman of Denver gets posterized by Shannon Brown from The World of Isaac.
• The 5th Corner conducted a great interview with Dr. Anklesnap of Hoop Doctors which contained some great analysis on the upcoming draft, as well as why blogs are becoming more mainstream.
• My buddy David Chalk over at Bugs & Cranks and I share one thing for sure, a dislike of New York Yankees anything.  He carves out some great points in his editorials and always provides a solid read.  Check out his Super Fun Yankee Trivia Quiz.
